The tablet solution brings the functionality of the Feldschwarm platform directly to the field edge. It enables farmers and machine operators to conveniently monitor and control autonomous and semi-autonomous machines via a mobile user interface. Planned missions can be accessed, assigned to machines and started. During field operations, the application provides a clear overview of the current status, machine positions, work progress, and relevant machine and process data.
Via the tablet interface, individual machines or entire machine fleets can be started, paused and monitored. In the event of deviations or faults, the operator receives corresponding notifications and can intervene immediately if required. This ensures that the operator remains in control at all times, even during highly automated field operations. The tablet solution complements the central platform by providing a mobile interface for practical operation directly in the field.
In addition, the mobile solution supports RTK-based mapping of field boundaries, obstacles, field entrances and parking areas. This geospatial data provides an essential basis for the safe planning and execution of autonomous missions. By combining field mapping, mission management and fleet monitoring, the solution creates a seamless workflow – from on-site preparation and mission approval through to continuous monitoring of the machines during field operations.
